Graduated MA Illustration Course from the Tama Art University.

Develops illustrations not only in graphic design but also in various genres. She has presented her work through various collaborations and exhibition activities, and continues to have a wide range of exchanges mainly in Japan and South Korea.

 

Won many other awards, including the Bologna Children's Book Fair in Italy and the Japan Book Design Award. 

​

merry-mj expresses "ordinary everyday stories and messages" with a colorful and dynamic approach.

多摩美術大学大学院博士課程前期グラフィックデザイン研究領域修了。

 

イラストレーションをグラフィックデザインだけでなく、多様なジャンルを問わず展開しながらイラストレーター、絵本作家、テキスタイルデザイナーとして多岐に活動している。手描きの自由で遊び心とユーモアで伸びやかなドローイングを特徴とし、アートワークを通して国内外の多様なコラボレーションと展示活動を通じて作品を発表し、日本と韓国を中心に幅広く交流を続けている。

 

イタリア・ボローニャ国際絵本原画展入選、日本ブックデザイン賞受賞など他多数受賞。絵本 「ググさんとあかいボタン」 (絵・文、Tomsbox 編集、絵本塾出版) がある。

​

merry-mjは、カラフルでダイナミックなアプローチで 「平凡な日常の物語とメッセージ」 を表現する。​
